PEKAES (Poland) receives ISOQAR certify for the highest standards of safety

PEKAES, your Pangea partner in Poland and a leading logistics service provider, has once again been certified as compliant with the requirements of the ISO 28000:2007 standard for supply chain security management systems. The certificate represents a guarantee that the Błonie Branch of PEKAES operates effectively and that its transport processes conforms to the global standards for safety in domestic and international full truckload forwarding.

ISO 28000:2007 concerns the supply chain security management system. The standard helps logistics companies, manufacturers and service providers in minimising the risk of incidents that could affect the services they provide. The related risk is assessed, and the assessment is used to take suitable measures in order to ensure the continuity of business and the safety of the services provided by PEKAES.

PEKAES received the ISO 28000:2007 certificate in May 2018, after a two-stage certification audit. During the first stage, the certification body, ISOQAR CEE, examined the documentation and the functioning of the company’s entire management system. The second audit was conducted in May 2020, resulting in the recommendation of ISOQAR CEE to maintain the ISO 28000:2007 certificate of PEKAES.

ISOQAR CEE in Poland was established towards the end of 2003. It is a representative of the UK certification body: Alcumus ISOQAR Ltd. Worldwide. ISOQAR is an independent certification body competent to conduct third-party audits of management systems. The policy of ISOQAR focuses on the certification of quality, supply chain security, food safety, environment, energy, OHS and information security management systems.
