AIRSEA FORWARDERS, your Pangea partner in India, recently completed a series of specialized logistics movements involving heavy-lift and breakbulk cargo across international trade routes.
One of the projects involved the transportation of three wire rope coils from Kolkata Port, India, to Manaus, Brazil. Each coil weighed 20 tons, bringing the total shipment weight to 60 tons. The cargo required careful planning and coordination to ensure its safe handling and delivery throughout the transport process.
In another operation, AIRSEA FORWARDERS arranged the movement of a 255S bolt making machine from China to India. The nut and bolt manufacturing machine measured 8,500 mm in length, 4,700 mm in width, and 3,400 mm in height, with a total weight of 95 tons. The machine was loaded in China and transported to India as part of a breakbulk shipment, requiring specialized loading, securing, and handling arrangements due to its size and weight.
