BLS Portco SA (Pty) Ltd was formed in November 2012 through the merger of Bottom Line Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Portco SA (Pty) Ltd. BLS focused on clearing and forwarding, while Portco specialised in ships agency. Both companies had operated for more than 25 years and shared common directorship. The merger combined their expertise to streamline services for their clients.
A diverse management team and experienced staff support BLS Portco SA in delivering integrated freight management solutions.
Our services include ships agency, freight brokerage, ocean freight, customs clearing, road transport and warehousing for bulk, break-bulk and containerised cargo. We also provide terminal handling, stockpile management, container packing and unpacking, ships spares logistics, and handling of bonded and free-store cargo. Our offices cover Durban, Richards Bay, Cape Town, Saldanha Bay and Port Elizabeth, with coverage extending to East London.
