Despite the lockdowns and trading difficulties, TRANSORIENT, your Pangea partner in Turkey, is committed to ensure all quotations and operation services required by customers. They have anticipated the market situation and offered alternative freight solutions in every field:

TIME CRITICALS & BIOPHARMA
Major delays may occur with all domestic operators. TRANSORIENT is able to perform overnight pick- up/deliveries to/from 48 cities in Turkey with their drivers. They continue their fast courier on-line clearance and DTP (direct to patient) – DFP (direct from patient) services.

AIR FREIGHT
International passenger flights have been suspended. TRANSORIENT continues to work on all inquiries considering freighter flights both outbound and inbound IST and ISL airports. Domestic passenger flights were also suspended, therefore, only road feeder service is available from/to major city airports.

ROAD FREIGHT
Currently EU borders operating normally. Some destinations may experience delays due to strict measures by the relevant local authorities, increased border control, sanitary measures (temperature measurements by drivers, etc.) particularly in East Europe and also in Turkey.

INTERMODAL
All daily train and ro-ro services to/from EU continue as scheduled. Delays are possible at EU hubs due to overload. TRANSORIENT has available containers in both EU & Turkey.

SEA FREIGHT
Operations continue on all trade lanes. TRANSORIENT kindly recommends flexible planning to tolerate delays due to blank sailings in FCL cargo. Due to capacity reduction, they expect roll overs in LCL cargo. Seaway / telex releases are recommended for Turkey inbound shipments.
