Mr. Khalid Mir, CEO at TARGET LOGISTICS, your Pangea Partner in Pakistan, has been elected as Vice-Chairman of PIFFA (Pakistan International Freight forwarding Association) 2015-2016.
Since his election Mr. Khalid Mir has been actively involved in refining the freight forwarding industry by lobbying with the local and federal government to create an ambient environment for business development, especially since a huge growth is expected after the completion (next 2-3 years) of CPEC (China-Pak Economic Corridor) which will huge implications both locally and internationally in the region.
Moreover Mr. Mir has been focusing on creating/providing education to the current workforce through various workshops and training programs. As for the younger generation, PIFFA will be initiating a bachelor course in freight forwarding (supply chain management), the first of its kind in Pakistan, with the support of local universities, the program is expected to launch later this year.
