PLASCOW LOGISTICS, your Pangea partner in Israel, has successfully managed the international transport of a Komet 2800 HP industrial recycling machine, a highly performing shredder, from Austria to Israel via the Port of Koper, Slovenia. Measuring 6,803 x 2,504 x 3,130 cm and weighing 29,195 kg, this complex operation underscores PLASCOW LOGISTICS’ expertise in handling large-scale industrial shipments with precision and efficiency.
To ensure safe transit, the main machine unit was secured onto a 40’ flat-rack container, with comprehensive lashing and weather protection measures in place. The operation required specialized equipment and precise planning, utilizing a semi-trailer capable of rear, side, and top loading, with lifting support from both crane and forklift. Given the open transport segments, special consideration was given to protecting the cargo from weather exposure.
Alongside the main unit, machinery parts were transported in a 40’ open-top container, using overhead crane lifting for secure handling. Both units were transported with a strong focus on safety, structural integrity, and seamless coordination across multimodal transport stages.
