PLASCOW LOGISTICS Ltd, your Pangea partner in Israel, has once again demonstrated its expertise in managing highly complex humanitarian aid operations into Gaza. PLASCOW is a key player in this field, facilitating humanitarian aid shipments by sea, air, and land in close cooperation with their partner Move One. On November 20, they successfully completed the offloading of the fully chartered vessel Mira at Ashdod Port. This significant task involved handling 160 trucks of humanitarian cargo, totaling 2,001,000 kg (2,261 pallets), generously donated by the UAE.
The cargo comprised essential winter supplies and hygiene items, including women’s hygiene bags, winter blankets, water tanks, and personal hygiene items. Given the sensitivity and urgency of the shipment, special measures were implemented to protect the cargo, such as safe storage to prevent weather damage and meticulous supervision from the offloading of the vessel to the loading onto trucks and final offloading at the cross-point to Gaza.
This operation reflects the complex logistics required to coordinate with port authorities, customs, and special customs procedures involving approvals from several ministries, ensuring compliance at every stage. The entire operation, from departure to final truck delivery, spanned four weeks.
