PEKAES, your Pangea partner in Poland and a leading logistics service provider, is actively extending the range of its groupage services. After opening a new connection with Ukraine this year, the company has also launched a new service on the Poland-France route.
PEKAES consistently pursues its plans to develop groupage distribution in Europe. In order to uphold its strong position on the international market, the company never stops expanding the range of its services.
The latest changes of the groupage network of PEKAES provide new opportunities for its Clients, enabling even faster distribution of shipments from terminals located in Paris, Strasbourg and Lyon. With electronic data exchange, the shipments can now be routinely tracked.
“Changes in the schedule of international groupage lines are the effect of the constantly growing volume of deliveries to France. With the new connections, it has become possible to shorten delivery times. We now offer three direct export connections and four import connections per week. Our plan is to eventually introduce daily connections to France”, says Marek Tkaczyk, Director of the International Network of PEKAES.
For several years, trade between Poland and France has been continuously intensifying. According to information provided by the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS), France is one of the main business partners of Poland, ranked fourth on the list of the most important export markets of Poland worldwide. Items usually delivered to France by PEKAES include packaging or spare parts for various types of equipment, and the goods transported to Poland are usually luxury items, food and equipment or accessories for the industry.
“I am glad that the scale of our international operations keeps growing. The PEKAES Group focuses on the development of its groupage distribution and intermodal transport. We can meet any logistics challenges and provide high-quality services to our Clients, in compliance with all relevant requirements concerning the storage and transport of various types of products, including food”, says Maciej Bachman, President of the Management Board of PEKAES.
PEKAES currently has 17 international partners with which it operates services to all key European countries. The company successively develops its network of international connections, opening new routes and increasing line frequency. Recently opened connections include, in particular, three daily lines between Poland and Germany, a daily groupage service to Austria, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia and new connections with Switzerland, the Netherlands and Ukraine. The frequency of export to the south of Europe has been increased as well.
