PEKAES, a leading logistics operator, has been noting a continuous increase in the volume of goods transported by it to the Middle East. It is mostly transport by sea to that destination and the scope of provided services includes the handling of cargo from the Client’s door to the ports in the Middle East. In cooperation with local partners, the Company delivers shipments across the countries in that part of the world.
The first transport to the Middle East was carried out by PEKAES in the 1970s. The Company’s trucks were going to e.g. Iran, Iraq, Syria and Kuwait. Nowadays, the Company provides far more advanced logistics services and on a significantly larger scale. It is mostly freight transport by sea to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, among other destinations.
Last year, PEKAES transported over 500 containers to the Middle East. And already in the first half of 2017, the Company transported almost 400 containers. PEKAES delivers mostly building materials, laboratory equipment, rubber granules, furniture and toys to the countries in the Middle East.
