It is the time of the year when we reflect on the year that has passed and start planning for the new year ahead. We always feel a strong sense of appreciation to all of you when we take a step back to do this, and we are so grateful for another fantastic year of networking and partnership.
Every year the indicators of the collaboration between Members shot up side with the weeks following the celebration of the annual meeting. We see it by the shipments registered in the system, emails exchanged between agents, contacts requests and even direct news about projects that are undertaken in collaboration.
Even though not all activity between agents is registered in the system (to our regret as the system is excellent for members to have an absolute knowledge of their activity and performance in the network), from the one that is registered we can see an annual increase of around 50%. This has been maintained every year after the meetings in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, and of course also this year after the meeting in Ho Chi Minh City. This concrete year the growth is about 83%, there are many new shipments registered during this last quarter and we encourage you to keep these good ratios.
We also notice that cooperation is becoming much more regular. There are many agents that after participating regularly in the meetings have been able to establish recurring and growing cooperation. This fills us with satisfaction, as it’s the principal networking objective.
It is also remarkable that collaboration does not only restrict to general cargo shipments, there are many large and special projects that are managed in collaboration amongst Members. We are proud to receive and share your stories and news and confirm your finest professionality, and how in cooperation you can successfully achieve the greatest challenges.
Finally, it is relevant to mention how the cooperation between Connecta and Pangea Members is also increasing. We call it inter-network cooperation and facilitates contacts through the shared directories and the joint annual meetings, offering more synergies between agents and the development of new partnerships.
No need to say that to participate in the meetings every year makes the difference, we will soon be sharing full details for the 2018 Annual Meeting.
