Pangea members team up to deliver petrochemical project to tight deadline

An innovative solution and perfect coordination has enabled Santova Logistics and World Class Freight, your Pangea partners in Netherlands and UAE, to accomplish the time-critical delivery of a group of valves for a petrochemical industry to their final destination in Dubai.

The cargo was shipped in 15 crates of 1500Kg from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Jebel Ali. The total project comprised 22576 Kg and 98m3 of scheduled airfreight, and had to be split in 2 shipments for avoiding huge storage charges upon arrival.
Santova worked with its customer and WCF to produce a detailed shipping plan and schedule, in order to meet the time critical, contractual deadline.

Santova Logistics took charge of all logistics and transport operations for the cargo, which originated in the Netherlands, 250 Km away from the airport.
Santova’s activities included loading and lashing of all cargo; airfreight forwarding; and multi-modal shipment by air and truck. It also handled a special urgent export Customs clearance at origin. World Class Freight received the cargo at DWC, handled the import Custom clearance and final delivery operations in Dubai.
