Pangea members team up to deliver oversized shipment

A perfect coordination has enabled ORIGIN LOGISTICS, Pangea member in Turkey, and J. RONCO Y CIA, Pangea member in Spain, to accomplish the delivery of a high pressure storage tank from Turkey to Spain.

The tank measured 4 x 2,94 x 2,40 mt and weighted 6 Tn. It will be used for containing liquefied natural gas within the Energy and Gas industry.

ORIGIN took charge of all logistics and transport operation for the cargo in Turkey. The tank was loaded onto a 40′ flat rack of outsize ocean freight. ORIGIN‘s activities included the stowing, loading, lashing and securing of the cargo. It also handled export customs clearance at Port of origin, Gemlik Port, Turkey.

J. RONCO Y CIA coordinated the planning and communications with the customer to assure all requirements and deadlines were accomplished. Also, at arrival to Port of destination in Valencia, Spain, J. RONCO handled the reception of the cargo and import customs clearance, the tank was then routed overland to its final destination.
