ATAK-ORBIT INT’L (Türkiye) and BLUE FREIGHT SERVICE (Germany) were appointed by the Mediterranean Exporters Union in Türkiye as freight forwarders and customs brokers for their Fruit Logistica 2015 (Berlin) Exhibitors.
Fruit Logistica is the leading exhibition for perishable products such as fresh fruit and vegetables, with more than 2,600 exhibitors and 62,000 trade visitors every year.
ATAK-ORBIT INT’L locally collected all the elements and parts of the 17 exhibitors consisting of booth structures, furniture and decoration elements, graphic displays, promotional items and products. All elements were consolidated at ATAK-ORBIT dependencies and each package was marked and identified with the relative booth number for easy distribution at the fair ground. ATAK-ORBIT also arranged the consolidated delivery of all goods to the BLUE FREIGHT bonded warehouse in Berlin.
BLUE FREIGHT SERVICE Customs Department, in close coordination with the local fair customs, arranged the customs clearance under use of all possible VAT/DUTY exemptions for Exhibition goods. Once goods had been cleared, BLUE FREIGHT arranged the deconsolidation in Berlin and the delivery of each package to the dedicated booth owner on the fair ground.
“During the whole project a steady flow of information in terms of package marks, local fair access points and customs documentation has been required and was also one of the key points for stress free and customer satisfying operations” remarks Mr. Bastian Milke from BLUE FREIGHT SERVICE, who was at the fair ground for coordination and supervision.
