PANGEA Members appointed for regular supplies of Medicinal Cannabis.

MIREMAR, Pangea partner in Uruguay, and AAS FREIGHT, Pangea partner in Switzerland and Germany, are regularly cooperating for shipping Medicinal Cannabis from Uruguay to Switzerland. Each shipment weights in average around 300Kg and once it arrives in Switzerland it is distributed to different destination points within the country.

In order to assure a safe logistics from origin to destination, SGS conducted an audit to MIREMAR‘s procedures at the Uruguayan customs. The procedures and practices must follow pharmaceutical Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and AEO requirements to ensure quality and integrity throughout the clearing and forwarding operations.

The cooperation between MIREMAR and AAS FREIGHT has been key to guarantee document traceability of the shipments until each final receiver.

Business cooperation between MIREMAR and AAS FREIGHT starts after they met in Berlin in occasion of the 2018 Freightcamp, annual meeting for Members of the PANGEA Group. “The strength of the network, is with no doubt and at least for us, the human component. We take part of Freightcamp every year since 2015, which helps us build and strengthen contacts that turn to real friendship” comments Rossana Arcos, Manager at MIREMAR.
