PANGEA Global Meeting 2015 – Social Agenda The PANGEA Meeting is about much more than shaking hands, having one-2-one meetings, trading business cards, exchanging leads. Social networking during the meeting is very important and really helps to strengthen business relationships. Here is a resume of the carefully organized agenda and social activities for this year’s Meeting (all included in the Delegate and Spouse registration fee).  Team Building – Barcelona Challenge Monday 19 Oct from 2pm Dress code: Casual clothing / confortable footwear Team Building puts everyone in a spirit of agreement and makes the rest of the official Meeting Program more amicable, motivated and productive. The Experience is an interactive and participative way to discover the city, explore different aspects of the Mediterranean culture, gastronomy, local traditions and discovering the most amazing sites that Barcelona can offer to visitors. Sharing, thinking, creating, laughing, exploring and competing … are some of the things you need to do in teams to overcome the Barcelona Challenge. 
TAPAS Night – Welcome Dinner Monday 19 Oct from 8pm Dress code: Smart casual This year we will enjoy a group welcome dinner themed as Tapas Night outside the hotel. It will take place in a Restaurant located in the Dome of Centro Comercial Las Arenas just nearby the conference hotel. Las Arenas is a shopping, leisure and cultural center opened in 2011 and located in the renovated building of the old bullring Las Arenas in the Plaza España. 
International Gift Exchange + Extra ruffle You are encouraged to participate in an International Gift Exchange during the Tapas Night – Welcome reception (Monday 19 October evening). If you want to participate in this exchange, you just need to bring one wrapped up gift consisting of a local souvenir or typical gift from your country within a price range of USD 50. Please nothing like alcohol, perishable/edible or heavy items. In return you will receive one gift brought from another of your fellow partners. Thanks in advance for your participation! 
Guided City Tour Tuesday 20 Oct from 6:30pm Dress code: Smart casual We’ll maximize our stay in the city with a guided private tour. The customized route will allow us discover Barcelona’s most iconic sights with an official personal tour guide. The tour will end at a Barcelona’s seafront Restaurant for our group Dinner.

FOX Brasil Project Logistics transports 6 gantry cranes for the construction of Néstor Gambetta tunnel in Peru FOX Brasil, your PANGEA partner from Brazil, has coordinated a shipment of 6 used gantry cranes, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, till Callao port, Peru. The cargo was shipped for a construction of a tunnel. The project in Av. Néstor Gambetta vehicle includes two tracks with three lanes on each side, a central berm for future emergency rail and pedestrian tunnels, and is being constructed to reduce traffic congestion in the city and will improve access to the first port. The work will be completed in the first half of 2016, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).

OTIM, Italy, first over-sized shipment from their new CIS Division OTIM SpA, your PANGEA Partner in Italy, has handled their first big over-sized shipment ex Italy to Chelyabinsk Russia from their new CIS countries division. The shipment consisted of 2 trucks weighting 52 Tn and 44 Tn, as well as 5 standard trucks. Below is a picture of this shipment. As previously informed, OTIM Group opened this June a new “CIS COUNTRIES” Division. The main markets involved are: RUSSIA , KAZAKHSTAN , UZBEKISTAN , TURKMENISTAN , TAGJIKISTAN UKRAINE , BYELORUSSIA, GEORGIA ,ARMENIA , AZERBAIJAN AND BALTIC STATES. | | VANTAGE CARGO, UK, joins The British International Freight Association (BIFA)VANTAGE CARGO, your PANGEA partner in UK, has recently been admitted as a registered Trading Member of the British International Freight Association (BIFA). In order to qualify for BIFA membership, VANTAGE CARGO has proved to meet set criteria including: submission of annual financial returns, adoption of the Association’s Standard Trading Conditions, adequate liability insurance cover and a demonstration of industry competence and commitment to staff training. As a member of BIFA, VANTAGE CARGO is required to comply with the BIFA code of conduct and adopt the Association’s Standard Trading Conditions into its international freight contracts. |
