 The mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the transport and logistics industry is set to increase in the second half of the year according to a report from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). Economic recovery and the need to branch out into new markets are pushing the biggest companies to integrate operators and independent freight forwarders are their main focus. New emails for Shipment notifications As you have probably noticed, we have improved the system emails that
are sent to both Origin and Destination Members when a new shipment is registered through the PANGEA website. The email includes an overview of the shipment details and a link to access the shipment full details (including, if uploaded, the pre-alert, shipment documents, invoices, etc.). NOTES: Notifications are sent to the relative PANGEA Coordinator email of each involved Company. The shipment links are available once logged in the Members Area. |
FOX Brasil Project Logistics, Brasil, moves 11 Firetrucks from Spain to Brasilia, BRA 
FOX Project Logistics, your PANGEA Partner from Brasil, recently handled a special transportation of 11 Firetrucks, Door to Door from Seville, Spain up to its final destination in Brasilia, DF – Brazil. The total shipment volume was 665,28 cbm and gross weight 11,700 kgs (L: 7.5m; W: 2.52m; H: 3.2m). It was the second shipment of this contract, and the service included cargo load, pre-carriage, Customs Clearance, Operations at the Terminal/ Port of origin (Algeciras) and loading to vessel, International Sea Freight, reception at Terminal of destination Port (Santos), loading on carriage trucks, Custom Clearance and Licenses and final delivery to Brasilia, DF-BRA. OTIM SpA, your PANGEA Partner in Italy, with Chapman Freeborn Italy and Silkway airlines have helped to keep open an Oil and Gas facility by delivering time-critical outsize parts from Aberdeen to Sharjah. A 24-ton machinery plus 6-ton machinery were flown from LEJ to SHJ on an Ilyushin-76 freighter aircraft, chartered by OTIM SpA on behalf of an oil and gas industry client.
