OCEAN BRIDGE SHIPPING, your Pangea partner in Morocco, has demonstrated its expertise in oversized cargo transport by successfully handling the lashing and loading of a 17.5m x 3m x 4m, 800-ton tower crane for the construction industry. The shipment was transported from Casablanca, Morocco, to Libreville, Gabon via a RORO vessel.
Lashing was completed at the customer’s facility, where the crane was carefully secured to maintain structural integrity throughout transport. Given its massive size and weight, meticulous planning and specialized lifting techniques were employed to ensure safe loading onto trucks.
The crane was then transported approximately 120 km from Rabat to Casablanca port, where it was prepared for its ocean voyage during 28-day transit to Libreville.
