Iron and Steel plant elements delivered by ORIGIN LOGISTICS (Turkey)

Origin Logistics, your Pangea partner in Turkey, was recently in charge of a project shipment consisting on the delivery of various industrial elements for one of the biggest iron & steel plants in Turkey. The cargo included several parts of machinery of an air cooler, oxygen tanks and two 20Tn absorbers, coming from Shanghai, China.

At the port of discharge, Kumport (Turkey), Origin Logistics, in coordination with the consignee, the carrier CMA CGM and the Port Authorities, provided the unloading from vessel, on carriage and the lashing and unlashing, for securing the cargo up to its final delivery to the plant. The goods were organised in 111 packages with a total weight of 199.664 kgs

The project shipment consisted of:
2 BreakBulk Adsorbers of 20.700 Kg each, measuring 5230 mm wide, 5230 mm long and 3600 mm high.
6×40 HC
1×40 OT
4×40 FR

The whole process and operations were guided and managed by Origin Logistics expert team in Projects Logistics.

The Adsorbers were smoothly loaded as break bulk onto two separated trucks and professionally lashed, using a channel steel base, steel lacing wire, ropes and triangle woods to assure safety during the transportation. The remaining parts, such as, oxygen compressors, big tanks and water separators, were carried with Flat-racks, H-Cube and Open-Top containers.

After a successful delivery at the plant, the Origin Logistics team also arranged the unlashing and participated in the unloading operations next to the factory crew.
