GLOBEX LOGISTICS in Brazil, alongside CERMESONI in Italy, both your Pangea partners, successfully managed the first of three project shipments for a Brazilian Filtration Industry. This milestone shipment comprised 6 x OT and 2 BB volumes, including dimensions of 2 units at 13.72 x 2.44 x 2.90m. Despite the numerous challenges associated with Break Bulk shipments, the dedication and seamless execution by both companies were exemplary.
The collaborative effort saw CERMESONI handling the inland logistics, stuffing with the shipper, and the export customs process in Italy. After extensive negotiations with shipping lines, they managed to consolidate the cargoes into a single Bill of Lading, a feat unprecedented in past shipments for this client. This consolidation was imperative for securing the Ex Tarifario tax benefit in Brazil, which only applies to cargo shipped in a single consignment. The customer was pleasantly surprised by this achievement, as no previous agent had accomplished such a task.
The shipment is currently en route and expected to arrive at Santos Port in the first week of July. From there, GLOBEX LOGISTICS will ensure a comprehensive door-to-door service, including handling customs in Brazil, delivering from the port to the customer’s industrial site, and dispatching a third-party team to assist engineers in setting up the industrial filters.
With two more similar shipments planned for the second half of the year, GLOBEX LOGISTICS and CERMESONI look forward to continue their successful collaboration, ready to tackle any forthcoming challenges with the same level of excellence.
