Asiafreight Logistics Inc (ALI), your PANGEA Partner in Philippines, successfully underwent its first external surveillance audit for their ISO 9001:2008 certification last December 13, 2016. SGS Certifying body, world’s leading inspection and certification company, performed the assessment to ensure that ALI’s Quality Management System (QMS) continues to meet all elements of the scope of registration and effectively maintains the entire requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 International Standard. With ALI team’s full effort and commitment, its QMS remains effective and has been recommended for continued registration. ALI’s passing of the surveillance audit is in preparation for the ISO 2015 version. ALI earned its ISO certification last December 2015.
The ISO 9001:2008 Standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. ISO 9001:2008 is implemented by over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries.
Also this month, Asiafreight Logistics Inc has transferred to New Office Facility inside Afreight Compound, Parañaque City. The new facility comes with the multi-purpose training room which will host training activities of ALI. This big change in the working environment of Asiafreight aims to help improve the performance and productivity of its employees.
Asiafreight is a new evolution company formed under a team with more than three decades of wide experience in freight forwarding and logistics business. ALI offers wide array of services such as customs clearance and brokerage, warehousing, trucking and delivery, and domestic distribution.
