The process begins with clients placing LCL bookings. When sufficient cargo with similar ready dates is available to fill a 20′ or 40′ dry container, RONTH arranges space and equipment with the shipping line and coordinates the positioning of an empty container at a depot in the Bangkok area.
Typically, cargo from two to three clients is consolidated into a single container. Clients may either arrange cargo delivery and customs clearance themselves or request RONTH to pick up cargo from their factories and manage customs procedures on their behalf.
Depending on the depot, the loading sequence may be determined based on cargo details provided in advance or after all shipments have arrived on the stuffing date. Container stuffing, lashing, and tallying are handled by depot personnel. Once the cargo is secured and the container sealed, it is transported onward for vessel loading.
Currently, RONTH offers this co-loading service exclusively for shipments to the Port of Rotterdam, with container stuffing arranged in the Bangkok area. The company is highlighting this capability to provide partners and clients with a better understanding of the services it offers.
