Exhibition Seafood shipment handled by FREIGHT EXPERT, FEI (Japan)

For the third consecutive year, Freight Expert Inc (FEi), your new Pangea partner in Japan, has been appointed by a major exhibitor at Japan International Seafood & Technology Expo for shipping more than 200Kg of Sea Food coming from UK. The Expo is an international show that brings together the professionals and experts of the Japanese seafood industry, it is held every year in Tokyo Big Sight convention center.

The cargo consisted of 15 CTN /204Kg of different species of fish and shellfish, including salmon salar, scomber scombrus, cancer pagurus and pectin maximus, transported from Glasgow, UK to Narita, Japan. Properly packed and protected, the goods had to be kept at a constant refrigerated temperature between 2 and 8 Celsius degrees.

The Japanese customs formalities for importing such perishable cargo are complex and require the preparation of many documents and certificates. Despite the time pressure, FEi managed to clear and deliver the cargo on site the next day after its arrival.
