Caspian Sea trans-shipment project handled by ORIGIN LOGISTICS (Turkey)

ORIGIN LOGISTICS, your Pangea partner in Turkey, has provided complete and secure discharge of 1089 tonns/1448 cbm of Tank materials and steel structures at Derince Port, Turkey. The materials came from Saudi Arabia and are used in pressurised depots at Gas and Oil factories.

ORIGIN LOGISTICS also re-loaded and placed the cargo to another vessel for transportation to Aktau port, in Kazakhstan, which is located on the Caspian Sea.

Transportation through the Caspian Sea has to be done by river-type vessels, what makes Turkish ports the best solution for trans-shipments. Big vessels call Turkey ports (Mersin, Izmir, Gemlik, Derince, Istanbul) from where the cargoes are transferred to smaller vessels before entering the Caspian Sea, and reaching several ports from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
